ok wow i did NOT expect my dumb question about HPLC certs to turn into this whole debate but honestly i am so glad it did?? like i learned more from reading this back and forth than i have from like two weeks of googling, so thank you all genuinely

ok i screenshotted this, not gonna lie. this is exactly the kind of structured thing my brain needs when i'm looking at a new vendor site and starting to feel overwhelmed. like i need a checklist or i will just stare at everything and understand nothing and then either talk myself into something bad or close the tab out of anxiety lol

that actually means a lot, thank you. i was genuinely worried i was derailing the thread with basic stuff

so for my own experience, which i realize i should have shared sooner - i actually did order from one domestic source about a month ago for some BPC-157 for a tendon thing i've been dealing with. processing took about 3 days i think, then shipping was another 3 days after that? so not the 2-3 days from the thread title but not terrible either. tracking actually updated consistently which was nice, i was refreshing it like every hour because i'm like that

not sure if i should name them here or if that's against the rules, i always second guess myself on that. but the experience was fine, package arrived in normal looking packaging, nothing weird

the cert stuff though... i will admit i just kind of glanced at the cert on that order and moved on because i didn't really understand what i was looking at. which after reading this whole thread i realize was not great. i'm going to go back and actually look at it again now that i have the four criteria T_Ortega laid out. probably should have done that before ordering honestly, oops

This is the correct answer. Took six posts to get here but we got there.

One thing I'd add from experience: the compound name matching is more important than most beginners realize. "CJC-1295 no DAC" and "Mod GRF 1-29" are the same thing but vendors use both names. That one won't trip you up but there are sloppier examples out there where the cert name is vague enough that it's basically useless for verification purposes. Read that line carefully.

And yes to the MS confirmation point dr_peptide_curious raised earlier. HPLC alone tells you purity. Mass spec tells you what the compound actually is. Both together is the standard you want. Either alone is incomplete. Most good domestic sources are running both now. If they're only showing HPLC, that's worth noting.

OP your original question about shipping times - 2 to 4 days once processed is realistic from the better domestic operations right now. Processing lag is the variable. Check recent thread activity like gainz_peptide_bro said, nothing older than 60 days is worth much.

Hey, coming back to this question because I realized it kind of got lost in all the cert debate stuff (which was still worthwhile I think, but your original questions deserved more attention!).

I'm curious what you mean when you say "healing/recovery stuff" - are you talking like injury recovery, general inflammation, sleep quality, or something else? Because that actually shapes the answer a bit. Like if you're running something specifically for tissue repair versus if you're just optimizing sleep and body comp, the protocols are pretty different and which peptides you're even sourcing matters.

Not trying to be nosy, just genuinely want to give you a more useful answer than "yeah sure order from multiple places" without knowing what you're actually working toward. You've been asking really thoughtful questions in this thread and I'd rather point you in a direction that's actually relevant to your goals. :)
